Six kinds of people, and which one you are

Why only a few people live a joyful or prosperous life while others live an ordinary life and/or struggle all the time?

Based on my experience of life, here is why:

I am categorizing based on how different people accomplish their targets in life or fulfill their dreams.

• First category: People having no targets/aims. These are the people who don’t think much about their future. They just do what’s there on their plates. They just follow their regular routine.

• Second Category: People from this category have dreams, but they don’t have the willingness to take the necessary actions and do the hard work to achieve their goals. They think that some miracle will happen and they will end up achieving what they have dreamt of. You will see that most people from this category end up blaming the situation or the people around them.

• Third Category: People from this category have dreams as well as a clear picture of their vision and a willingness to work towards it. They clearly know what they want and how to progress to fulfill their dreams. They are ready to struggle, hustle, and encounter any challenge.

• Fourth Category: People from this category don’t have prior dreams. They do just enough hard work to achieve something worthwhile, or sometimes it even happens by luck, and then they pretend like it was their dream from the beginning. It’s the same as first throwing a dart and then drawing circles around where it lands.

• Fifth Category: People from this category believe in “Fake it till you make it.” They show off like they have achieved something worthwhile and fool people. You can find many people around you from this category in the rising social media era.

• Sixth Category: People from this category don’t think much about their future; they just give their 100% each day. They do whatever is necessary at that particular moment. They accept happily whatever happens in their life. They are not bound or attached to the end results. You will very rarely find people from this category around you.

Now ask yourself in which category you belong and how you want to proceed from there.

Each one of us has desires, our very own list of dreams and longings. Creation may have its own blueprint for us, but our personal ambitions cannot be easily wished away. They may be extravagant or mundane, ambitious or trivial, they may be inconvenient, but they are ours. They are real, they are precious, they are urgent and deeply significant. Ultimately, if you don’t know where to go, you’ll never reach there.
